This PDF quilt pattern, designed by Daphné from Octopurse is a modern variation of the classic Lone Star Quilt that combines traditonal piecing with energetic visual impact. Star, flower, explosion of colors? The Ombre Star Quilt is all of these things. It was created to highlight color gradients and it is particularly well suited to solids or blender fabrics.
The pattern includes a coloring sheet.
 
Finished sizes:
- Small: 46" x 46"
- Medium: 57" x 57"
- Large: 69" x 69"
- XLarge: 80" x 80"
 
Skill level: Intermediate
It requires cutting and sewing on a bias, sewing with a consistent 1/4" seam, and precision to match diamond points. There are Y seams to the background. The pattern incudes tips on how to do this accurately.
